What could numbeness in foot be caused from?

For the last week, I have had off and on numbness(more so a tingling feeling) on my left foot located right under my big toe. I noticed after wearing my shoes at work. the tingling feeling comes and goes but i am just wondering what could be causing this. I have been on a diet and losing weight and working out a lot and i stand on my feet a lot at work and i wear safety shoes.

What could numbeness in foot be caused from?
I would see a doctor sooner rather than later. Foot numbness can be caused by a multitude of things including diabetes and poor blood circulation. No one can accurately answer that question here. You need to examined by a doctor.
